Our Story
At Exceptional Support 4 U, we're a small family-owned support provider built from real-life experience. Our family has lived experience supporting loved ones with complex and diverse needs, including: Intellectual Disability, Autism, ADHD, OCD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Schizophrenia.
Because we've walked this journey ourselves, we understand how challenging it can be to find the the right support worker - someone patient, consistent, and genuinely committed to understanding your world.
Lived experience shapes everything we do. We take the time to truly listen and focus on what each customer needs - right now and into the future.
We're not just a service provider - we're a family helping families. And we are here to support you with honesty, warmth, and the belief that every person deserves a team who understands them, respects them, and stands beside them.
Our Approach
Our approach is simple: we support people the way we would want our own family to be supported. Every decision we make - from matching support workers to planning shifts - is grounded in respect, empathy, and a genuine commitment to doing what's right for each individual.
Person-Centred, Always
We take the time to understand each person's routines, preferences, communication style, comfort levels, and goals. We listen first and tailor supports around the person.
Calm, Consistent & Relationship-Focused
Trust is built through genuine connection. We prioritise support workers who show up consistently and take the time to get to know the people they support. Our goal is to create a safe, positive environment where participants feel understood, respected, and valued.
Clear Communication with Families
Families deserve to feel included, informed and confident. We keep communication simple and transparent, encourage shared decision-making, and provide shift notes so everyone stays on the same page.
Flexible and Responsive to Changing Needs
Life changes, and needs change with it. We adapt our supports quickly, work collaboratively with families and coordinators, and make sure the level of assistance always reflects what's happening right now.
Support Worker Matching That Works
We carefully match each participant with support workers who complement their personality, needs, and interests. A good match leads to better outcomes, stronger rapport, and more enjoyable support.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower people with disabilites to live their best life through passionate, high-quality support. We provide person-centred, flexible and reliable services that build confidence, independence, and meaningful participation, while keeping families and support networks informed and involved.
